In this 3-hour, introduction to Front-end Development, you will learn the fundamentals of HTML and CSS. We mix instructor-led teaching, code demonstrations, and collaboration on lab work.

It doesn’t matter if you have little to no experience in coding, you will walk away with the confidence that you can be a developer! You will experience what it’s like to learn how to code in a fun, safe community of like-minded individuals who are there to learn along with you!

This workshop is for you if:

• you have basic computer skills
• you are curious to know if coding is for right for you
• you have a website and would like to update it yourself
• you are new to coding or want to brush up on your skills

At the end of this workshop, you will:

• know what front-end development is
• how the HTML and CSS languages work together
• how to read HTML and CSS code
• collaborate with other attendees to build a fully functional website
